There are cafés that serve food, and then there are places like Le Plaisir that understand the emotion behind dining. Nestled in Pune, this charming café captures the elegance of European café culture with remarkable confidence. Le Plaisir does not try too hard to impress and perhaps that is exactly why it succeeds. Starting with the Mushroom & Truffle Oil Pizza, the crust arrives beautifully airy and blistered with that characteristic wood-fired crispness that instantly transports you to a small European pizzeria. What truly stood out was the generosity of toppings, something many places struggle with. The earthiness of mushroom paired with the aromatic depth of truffle oil creates a flavour profile that is indulgent yet balanced. A thoughtful touch was their unlimited olive oil and chilli oil at the table, allowing diners to personalise each slice exactly the way authentic Italian dining encourages. The Aglio Olio Pasta was pure comfort on a plate. Often underestimated because of its simplicity, this version proves how technique matters more than complexity. Silky strands coated beautifully in garlic-infused olive oil, carrying richness without heaviness. It felt deeply comforting and almost therapeutic. Equally memorable was the Three Cheese Pasta with Roasted Chicken; a luxurious combination of béchamel, smoked cheddar and gorgonzola that could have easily become overwhelming in less capable hands but, Le Plaisir balances the sharpness and smokiness beautifully. In the Butter Poached Prawns, prawns themselves tasted fresh and were cooked delicately enough to retain their natural sweetness and softness. However, the dish lacked assertive seasoning and depth. I took my girlfriend here for lunch. The atmosphere and sitting arrangements were really good and comfy. You can actually see the chefs cook through the window. We ordered a chicken lasagna, which was really very tasty. The tomato sauce has that perfect amount of tang and sweetness. The chicken was in good proportion. It was really very tasty. We also had half and half pizza, where we had burnt chicken and meat loader. The chicken was perfectly cooked and I'm a fan of that ham, the bacon was crisp and soft and tender at the same time, it was really very good. Lastly we ordered the roast chicken sandwich, which was a bit sweet and lettuce-y. Again to no suprise, it was very tasty. We had a really good time and we're going to visit again soon.

Le Plaisir remains a standout destination for anyone seeking a top-tier dining experience. The atmosphere strikes a perfect balance between sophisticated and welcoming, making it an ideal spot for both casual lunches and special dinners. The food quality is consistently impressive. The pasta was cooked to a perfect al dente, tossed in a rich, flavorful sauce that showcased high-quality ingredients. Accompanying the meal, the garlic bread was a highlight—perfectly toasted with just the right amount of butter and aromatic garlic. The burger was equally remarkable, featuring a juicy, well-seasoned patty and fresh toppings that created a satisfying, gourmet feel. To round off the meal, the milkshake was thick, creamy, and served at the perfect temperature. Beyond the food, the service was attentive and professional, ensuring a seamless experience from start to finish. If you are looking for a place that delivers excellence across the board, Le Plaisir is highly recommended. I had a very good experience and will certainly be returning.

La Plaisir has been one of my all-time favorite places for years! If you’re a pasta lover, this is a place you simply can’t miss. They serve some of the best pasta in Pune, and the quality has always been consistently amazing. My absolute favorite is the 4 Cheese Pasta-rich, creamy, and incredibly satisfying. Their Garlic Mushroom is another must-try. The cozy ambience, delicious food, and consistent quality keep me coming back every time. Highly recommended! 🍝 Just a small suggestion pls increase the quantity of food.

Le plaisir needs no introduction. The place has amazing food options with great service and a mesmerising atmosphere. My most appreciation goes to the wait staff. Dishes I recommend are: 1. The OG plain salted fries. They’re crispy on the outside and appropriately salted. 2. Grilled chicken w mashed potatoes and harissa sauce. Must must have. Great chicken w one of the best tossed veg I’ve had in town. 3. My fav is Veg and feta pizza but the rest are good too. Can opt for half and half. 4. The best dessert on the menu is the Espresso Pennacota. Hands down the best. It’s cold and delicious. 5. Others: Mushroom w cream sauce. Pull apart garlic bread. Cons: Wait time is usually long. The tables are small and the place feels crammed up. Gets noisy when filled w guests. They got a few options for drinks but didn’t find anything that stood out. Thanks!

Absolutely amazing food! Delicious pastas and desserts. Every single dish we tried was heavenly and mouthwatering. The menu is also extremely versatile and has very good options. The service and ambience didn’t disappoint either. French music, European vibes and overall a lovely experience. Definitely visiting again! Tip: Do try their Cheese grilled sandwich and cheesecakes - you’ll thank me later :)

My wife and I recently visited Le Plaisir, and it was one of the best authentic Italian dining experiences we’ve had in a long time. We ordered the Aglio e Olio pasta, garlic bread, another pasta, and dessert—every dish was absolutely delicious. The flavors were authentic, the ingredients tasted fresh, and everything was cooked to perfection. It’s truly impressive how Le Plaisir has brought such authentic Italian flavors to Pune. If you’re looking for genuine Italian cuisine, this place is definitely worth a visit. We’ll certainly be coming back!

We visited Le Plaisir yesterday for a relaxed lunch, and overall, it turned out to be a lovely experience. The place had a warm and inviting ambience that instantly made us feel comfortable, which is something I personally value when dining out. There was about a 15-minute waiting time when we arrived, which felt reasonable considering how popular the place is. For food, we ordered their half-and-half pizza priced at ₹885, which was a nice option since we got to enjoy two different flavors in one pizza. The crust was well done, toppings were fresh, and the overall taste was genuinely satisfying. We also ordered a pasta for ₹485 and added assorted vegetables for ₹99. The customization was worth it because the extra veggies made the dish feel more wholesome and balanced. The pasta was creamy, flavorful, and portion size was decent enough for sharing. The food took around 25 minutes to arrive, which did feel a little long when you're hungry, but the quality made up for the wait. Service was polite and the staff handled the crowd well despite the rush. What stood out most was that Le Plaisir gives you that experience where you actually want to sit, talk, and enjoy your meal instead of rushing out. Yes, it is on the pricier side, but for the ambience, quality, and overall dining experience, it feels justified once in a while. Definitely a good pick for a casual date, catching up with friends, or simply treating yourself.

Had a wonderful experience at Le Plaisir! The ambience is beautiful, elegant, and perfect for a relaxed meal. Every dish we tried was delicious and thoughtfully prepared with great attention to detail. The highlight of the evening was definitely the Panna Cotta – without a doubt the best Panna Cotta I have ever had. It was perfectly balanced, creamy, and absolutely delightful. The service was warm, attentive, and made us feel welcome throughout our visit. The presentation of the food was impressive, and the quality of ingredients was evident in every bite. A perfect place for a date night, special occasion, or simply enjoying great food in a lovely atmosphere. Highly recommended, and I look forward to visiting again!
